Part 2 of The Making of “Wake-Up Call”
More on the Adam Levine rumors. If you haven’t been following this news story here’s a quick recap. It has been reported that Adam Levine dished on why the relationship didn’t work. It was reported that he said the relationship did not work because of Maria Sharpova’s horrible off-court performance in bed. No moans, no screaming and very uneventful. To squelch the rumors both parties are trying to do some repair. Check out Maroon 5’s website and their news section where they talk about the false reports.
In response to recent reports regarding Adam Levine and Maria Sharapova, their representatives released the following joint statement: “The quote is absolutely not true. Adam never said this, and they only met once at Maria’s birthday party in 2004.”
Also check out Maria Sharpova’s personal website that also addresses the issue.
Maroon 5’s public relations office issued the following statement to the media about the silly story making the rounds. As Maria’s fans know, Maroon 5 performed as a surprise at her birthday party years ago. So, Maroon 5 wants everyone to know: “The quote is absolutely not true. Adam never said this, and they only met once at Maria’s birthday party in 2005.”
Although there is a discrepancy in the time of her birthday party, this is their attempt to stop the rumors.

Check out this great Stripped performance of Maroon 5. There is also an interesting Q&A. Also check out their great wallpapers of the performance. Don’t forget to check out Adam Levine performing Beatle’s, Guns n’ Roses and Sublime.
What does Adam Levine spend too much money on? Find out on the Q&A.
Here is another Maroon 5 bonus track. This one is called Until You’re Over Me. All the bonus tracks sound just as great as the whole album. I will be posting all of the bonus tracks eventually so keep checking back in!
Happy Monday!
Lately, news has been flying around claiming that Adam Levine described Maria Sharpova is a dull sex partner who is a “terrible lover” who refused to moan or move during sex. These are some pretty harsh statements if they are true and not very classy.
From The Sun:
WHAT a charmer…
Slimy MAROON 5 frontman ADAM LEVINE has slammed former partner MARIA SHARAPOVA’s behaviour between the sheets.
The grubby character has revealed intimate secrets of their sex life to explain why their brief courtship ended.
And the pretty tennis star’s lack of volume in the bedroom tore the lovers apart.
Levine said: “She wouldn’t make any noise during sex.
“I can’t tell you how disappointed I was. I really thought, like a lot of guys, that she’d be the loud screaming type.
“But instead, she just lay there like a dead frog. She even got angry if I started to moan, said it ‘ruined her concentration’.
Adam Levine denies saying anything close to that and claims they are rumors.
From EntertainmentWise:
A representative for Adam Levine has denied claims that he labeled tennis ace Maria Sharapova a “dead frog” in bed.
A Russian publication claims that the Maroon 5 frontman slammed Sharapova’s lack of skill in the bedroom.
They quoted Levine as saying: “She wouldn’t make any noise during sex. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was.
“I really thought, like a lot of guys, that she’d be the loud screaming type.”
However a rep for Levine has labelled the comments untrue, telling PerezHilton;
“I represent Maroon 5 and wanted to let you know that the quote on your site [from the Russian newspaper] isn’t true.
“Adam never said this, and they only met once at Maria’s birthday party in 2004.”
What do you think? Do you think that Adam Levine is really that slimy and is the kiss and tell type? Or do you think this is all just rumors and although it may be true, Adam Levine has enough class to maybe bite his tounge?

Kara’s Flowers was Adam Levine’s old band that consisted of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and previous Maroon 5 drummer, Ryan Dusick. They failed to gain commercial success and Adam Levine has said on many accounts that he did not enjoy Kara’s Flowers because they weren’t good and they didn’t have any experience to write their lyrics from. Nonetheless, they do have catchy songs but it is obvious that they have grown as a band. Here’s the video to their single, Soap Disco.
Here’s an interesting interview with Jesse Carmichael and Adam Levine talking about their sophomore album. This is from their AOL Sessions in which they did acoustic versions of their songs such as the Wake Up Call that was posted in a pervious entry. Great interview.
