Maroon 5 on Giant Magazine

Monday, August 6th, 2007

Maroon 5 was recently featured in an article for Giant magazine. The article was a tour bus survival guide. They talk about the stuff they do on the bus to keep themselves sane, which bunk is the best and other things they do on the road such as keeping a vegetable juicer on board. There are also great pictures that go along with the article.

Manwhore?

On the June Issue of Blender magazine, Adam Levine is featured in the Dear Superstar section of Blender magazine. He’s asked about being called a manwhore, how far he got with each girl he’s been linked with, if he’s ever had sex to his own music, worst gig and why did he pick such an awful band name. I know, horrible questions. Basically, Adam Levine is put through the ringer when it’s the readers of Blender magazine’s turn to ask the question and be the inteviewer. The questions are really funny and it’s funny to see how much Adam Levine is going to reveal or how he tries to dodge an uncomfortable question like what base he got to with Natalie Portman. It’s a really interesting interview so props to Blender for giving an out of the box interview.

Get the June issue of Bass Player magazine to read an interesting interview with Mickey Madden and one of the producers of “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long”, Mike Elizondo. In the interview Madden talks about Adam Levine’s songwriting abilities, their gameplan for making songs and how the band compliments each other. Mike Elizondo, who is most known for his work with Dr. Dre, is also a fellow bassist who helped produce the album. After reading the interview, it’s easy to see why the album was so well put together. They worked really hard on it and pulled out all the stops for it.

Men’s Health

Adam Levine does an interview and photo shoot for Men’s Health June issue. Be sure to check it out. He talks about the new album and how he dreamed of becoming a basketball star but soon realized that it would only be a dream and had to reconsider his future. Well kudos to you for pursuing something much more worthwhile. You can play basketball on your spare time anyway. The world would be deprived without Maroon 5 anyway. Other than talking about his past and the album, Adam also sheds light on tips and tricks for wearing denim such as when to wear them, what kind is best to wear and just looking good. I’d take the man’s advice because always seems to be in fashion. “Real men wear Levi’s”, he says. So if you want to read the full article and check Adam’s photo shoot be sure to pick a copy up.
