Part 2 of The Making of “Wake-Up Call”
Here’s a great video of the making of “Wake Up Call.” Check it out. It’s part of a 3 part series that shows the making of the video. They talk about how they really had to squeeze in the video shoot in between many other things which was obvious when just looking at their tour schedule. Maroon 5 is working hard.
Now if you love the video, don’t forget to vote for it on TRL so it can make the countdown.
According to Wikipedia,
“According to a casting sheet found on the web, director Jonas Ackerlund and the band are looking for a leading lady to play frontman Adam Levine’s love interest, as well as an older, haggard-looking man (the sheet made specific references to both Mickey Rourke and Ian McShane) for the role of the other man. There is also mention of strippers and pole dancers, as well as body doubles in said casting sheet (a mild sex scene is expected to take place, though the characters involved are unknown).
The video is set to play out like a fake trailer for a nonexistent movie - similar to British Rock band Muse’s video for “Knights of Cydonia”. The casting sheet made a note of stunts (running, falling into a dumpster, driving) required for those applying for the role of Adam Levine’s stuntman.
Filming took place on July 7-9, with the video’s premiere estimated for mid-July.”
